Every single profile is fake. Date of experience : June 29, 2024. Rubbish dating site. You sign up and then you are bombarded with this banner which want you to upgrade constantly. Very annoying. Also without subscribing, you cannot read any messages or send any. Subscribing is simply too expensive with one month coming in at £34 quid. Ridiculous!! Then they try to entice you saying become a search VIP for £2.99, no thanks!! In the ‘encounters’ tab Yu scroll through a carousel of prospectives and can like or dislike them. But what’s the use if you can’t interact unless you subscribe. Basically a very dead site. Don’t waste your time. Date of experience : May 16, 2021. Fraud like website. Rubbish website. First I signed up and completed my info. Then Once I uploaded my pictures they signed me out, I couldn’t sign in again or recover my password. I contacted the so called customer support who informed me that “they have a reason the account is not genuine” and never said what is the reason. I asked them to confirm deletion of my info and pictures, they never reply They act same way as photo collector fraud!! Date of experience : February 21, 2019. Website using deceitful tactics. Fake messages which clearly aren’t from the members themselves (auto-generated) It’s very deceitful in that a significant no. of messages in the inbox are fake (not from real people) and are clearly auto-generated. (I knew this as at this point I had zero information in my profile – it didn’t make sense for anyone to message me until they had at least a bit of info about who I am). I searched up gay dating sites the second lot of results came up with welovedates so I signed up noticed it only came up with men looking for woman and women looking for men I signed up to see if you could change later in settings but no I couldn’t. Then I contacted them to find out why they false advertised a bot replied saying I had my gender setting wrong so I replied hoping someone real would reply back why I can’t search for men seeking men no reply so far. So my advice if your LGBTQ I wouldn’t bother clicking on it worse site I’ve used. Date of experience : April 14, 2020. Welovedates is a terrible site. Welovedates is a terrible site, it auto generates messages indicating that someone wants to meet you when they don’t, it’s humiliating when you contact the person only to find that they have no interest in you. I am a happy person but could imagine what it could do to a person that is prone to depression or even someone with body issues. I think they should be investigated for passing out fraudulent information. Date of experience : August 08, 2018. New name same sh– New name same sh– Well I was only there to find someone compatible. Just another site set up to rob you. Promises you’ll find someone and then robs you blind. This site used to be named something like “vegetarian match.” Well guess what? most people on that site weren’t vegetarian, so what’s the point? None. That’s it. No point other than to build up your hopes than smash them into pieces. I for one used to be hopeful but this and other dating sites have turned me into a right miserable sod. It seems to be proven that buy and large, online dating is bad for your mental health, as amongst other things, it lowers your self esteem. If I could give this place no stars and still write a review I would. I searched for a sugar daddy website. I found this place. I signed up and found I couldn’t reply to any messages I got. I bought the 3 day trial. I couldn’t figure out how to unsubscribe so I opened a ticket. Customer service wasn’t working the weekend. Gets to Monday and I get an email. Follow the directions. (Directions that didn’t help) I email back. They can’t find my member number. I take a picture of it and send it. They say I didn’t send the Member number. I send it again and tell them I had attached a photo with it on. And now they have no excuse because it’s in text. I HEAR NOTHING FROM THEM. I finally find the cancel button but my Subscription has auto renewed to charge me 40 euros. I cancel. I ask for a refund because they didn’t help me cancel when I asked for help. They say that they see no evidence I cancelled and so the renewal stands and that I knew this because of the terms&conditions. I point out to them I was TRYING to get HELP to CANCEL. Quickly it became obvious that if you wanted to be serious on there, you had to pay for their platform. Not a problem I was thinking as this might have kept the riff-raff of fake profiles out. This did not turn out to be true, in fact, quite the opposite was the case. There were so many various fake profiles on the site, that it made my head spin. The website at least admits in their user agreements that they have “fake” accounts to rake you in to make you pay for their services. Aside from their own in-house profiles, there is a plethora of scam accounts to choose from as well. Almost within minutes you’ll get a message with a number from a place in Wisconsin or Idaho. There’s nothing for free usage to speak of. You can’t even message someone unless you have some kind of payment plan in place. Prices range from $40 up to $90 depending upon Add-ons. Yes, you read right, they made optional add-on packages so others can respond without them having to pay fees you already are paying for, more advanced messaging features, requests and so on. Even if you live in a big city, like say Toronto, you could swipe through a total of 100 profiles and suddenly no one is in your area. The vast majority of real profiles for women seems to be the 50 and over category.
